Love the closing song to the Welk show and thought this song would be great with a slideshow of sleeping pets and animals. And no, the cat sleeping with a cigarette and a bottle of booze is not dead..geez, some lady threatened me if I didn't delete this video. Enjoy!

  • My Grandma used to sing this to me as she put me to bed. As a kids we used to watch the show on Sat night. Sadly my grandma passed away last month at 94.I will always keep this song in my heart, and the many fond memories we shared together.

  • i feel short when i hear this, from early 60's, weekly staple. hay, weren't the lenin sisters hot? best was the 4 of them on a quad bicycle. i think this show is why i like acordians even todqay.

  • I see I am not alone in not caring for L.W. much in the '60's. Ah how precious these sounds are now. My now departed aunt and uncle watched it faithfuly whenever it was broadcast.
