"Time" is from the Alan Parsons Project album "The Turn Of A Friendly Card" written by Eric Woolfson and Alan Parsons. I produced this instrumental from a midi file I downloaded from the internet in Nuendo using VST instruments. There is no credit as to who sequenced the midi.

*Time*

Time, flowing like a river
Time, beckoning me
Who knows if we shall ever meet again
If ever
But time
Keeps flowing like a river
To the sea

Goodbye my love, Maybe for forever
Goodbye my love, The tide waits for me
Who knows when we shall meet again
If ever
But time
Keeps flowing like a river (on and on)
To the sea, to the sea

till it's gone forever
Gone forever
Gone forevermore

Goodbye my friends, Maybe for forever
Goodbye my friends, stars wait for me
Who knows when we shall meet again
If ever
But time
Keeps flowing like a river (on and on)
To the sea, to the sea

till it's gone forever
Gone forever
Gone forevermore

  • I just thought of something.

That short excerpt of the music video reminds me of lagging during games online. :D

    Fantastic Song though. :)

  • Eric and Alan, thanks for all your wonderful music.

  • looks like tim curry's brother

    Rotz Coolchen

  • I got the piano part that I play Time with from this midi file.

  • Hi friend, thanx for sharing this. This is a rare example of a very good APP midi file, and you did a very nice video tribute to Alan and Eric.

I see you inserted some pic of Alan with some midi device. I read an interview of 80s to Eric&Alan, when still the midi standard wasn't common, Alan had a box to handle with 64 midi channels!
