Funny how the doctor talks about the nerve, I was thinking of another thing.

Deep Vein Thrombosis (aka economy class syndrome/window seat syndrome).

You get a blood clot and in the worst case scenario, it is fatal.

@rsx123 yeah but they're talking about a toilet seat where there's more pressure on less surface. Try sitting on the toilet for one hour without shifting your weight around (remember the bomb), your legs will go numb just like jamie's.
