***DISCLAIMER*** This is from Revelation Video's 'Garden State Arrow'. Part 4 begins at the new (at the time) high-level platform at Elizabeth in 1990 above the old CNJ right-of-way which was used as a lead to the Elizabethport shops which would be closed in the coming year. All work would move to the Meadows Maintainance Complex in Kearney. Also new at the time were New Jersey Transit's ALP-44s and their Comet III coaches. In 1984 NJT acquired 10 E60s from Amtrak for use on the North Jersey Coast Line which was electrified all the way to Long Branch in 1988. Then we see the Amtrak's experimental X2000 and ICE trains, which would make a nationwide tour pulled by diesels in 1993.

@deafdirk In this part these are Americans trains from 20 or so years ago. Most of the equipment seen here has been retired.

The Engine at 5:00 (E-60 #603) I am pretty sure is the one on display at the Pa. Railroad Museum. Pretty COOL video by the way!

its odd, Amtrak says their ridership is at an all time high, yet thier trains were 3-4 times longer. i mean they have a 12 car train on here. 12 on a regional is unheard of now. maybe 7 max not 12

@cbehr91 Haha I live in Southern California I rode in one of those Comet cars just the other day. I bet you the one I boarded is in one of these videos, haha.
