A song about our return to Gush Katif and Shomron. We will return...

the lyric (translation) is from Hebrewsongs.com
Lyrics:
A century has passed,
each hour is hard for me.
You have surely changed,
but i haven't closed my eyes.
This is the end of the journey
only you i'll want to see.
So I come to you,
with sharpened eyes
because I saw how resentment
takes me to a place
where people had lost it all.

Wait till I return, tomorrow i'll be home.
I'm through fixing the world, in a land of arguing.
Wait till I return, it's good to be home.
All were brothers in their blood,
The road back is beautiful.

I don't want to be a hero,
to you I wanted to tell how during the black light,
somebody watches over,
He hides between the clouds,
but leaves behind hope,
for days that are nicer, the days of love.
I don't want any more pain in the eyes,
this pain will be defeated in love.

Wait till I return, tomorrow i'll be home.
I'm through fixing the world, in a land of arguing.
Wait till I return, it's good to be home.
All were brothers in their blood,
The road back is beautiful.

Kvar avru mea shanah,
kol sha'ah kashah alai
at vadai yeshana
lo atsamti et einai ze
sofo she hamasah
rak otach ertse lir'ot
az elaich ani ba,
be'einaim l'toshot
ki raiti eich kina
oti lokachat l'makom
shebnei adam ibdu hakol.

chaki li she'ekhzor machar ani babait
nimas li letaken olam be'eretz yerivah.
chaki li she'ekhzor tov lihyot babait
kulam hayu achim badam
yafa haderech khazarah.

lo rotze lihyot gibor,
lach ratsiti lesaper eich balailah hashachor,
mishehu shomer
hu mistater bein ananim,
aval mashir lanu tikvah
leyamim yoter yafim, yamim shel ahavah
lo rotze yoter et hake'ev
sheba'einaim hake'ev haze yuvas be'ahava.

chaki li she'ekhzor machar ani babait
nimas li letaken olam be'eretz yerivah.
chaki li she'ekhzor tov lihyot babait
kulam hayu achim badam
yafa haderech chazarah.

  • 3rd grade English for the win!

I guess we're the ones who're blowing all over europe and we destroyed the twins huh?

Ofc we're the ones that kill American soldiers in Iraq, yupe, we're mean.

Israel has nuclear capabilitys, one of the strongest in the world. If we're so bad, how come we don't use it to smack your pathetic asses? Although when Iran will achieve nuclear power the world will perish.. So much for innocent arabs huh?

  • i like the song, god bless israel, shalom. wendy,

  • This song is for Israelis. For all the young soldiers who have to give so much.

One day they will come home and the fight will be over

  • What is sad is that the evacuees from Gush Katif were not really well looked after. They were encouraged to move there in the first place; a 100% planned and organised relocation taking into account the residents' preferences as much as possible so as not to break up the community should have been the course of action.

  • מי ישתתף בשחרור ירושלים ! תמשיך נעים

  • yes yes , only peace lovers live, only liberal, there is no place for radical muslims, or jewish settlers in the state of israel

    SHALOM PEACE SALAM

  • Yisrael has not inflicted sufferings on others, but they sure defend themselves against those that wish to wipe them out or drive them to the sea. "Palestinians" a political name for the people of Jordan who cannot go home because they are pawns for the Arabs. Have you seen the houses the peaceful Arabs who live in Israel own? They are mansions like you see in Palm Springs Ca. or Naples Florida. The only suffering I saw was by rockets lobbed at Sderot by the Hammas.

    Am Yisrael Chai!!

  • I have enjoyed your posts, don't give up.

I have hope for Israel, I have hope for Palestinian. Both need to eat, sleep and need some heavy duty good love making. And the world turns.... ;)

  • I'm impressed Idk613, Arabs have converted you at last, they have won after all (land or no land), because you now speak words as they do, same words. They have truly won, for they have turned you into hateful as they are.

  • treat others as you would like to be treated. When a nation has known great suffering, they must know better than to inflict it on others, they should be the light not add more darkness with vileness and hatred and silly comments such as this. Be the light. Be the light. Be the light. Don't lower yourself, but show you are better by being a light onto other nations, don't become as those that persecuted you.

  • Hmm,.. there for a minute I thought you were one of those white racists, that see Nazi " Final Solution" as the way to go about sorting problems out,.. But now, that I see that you're a Jew, I guest it makes it all ok. Idiot;))
