@IDF1987 wow your stupid charging is taking more then 3 strides immediately before contact leaving your feet is leaving your feet before contact learn what the fuck your talking about before u respond and my actually watch or play the game while your at it plus he didnt leave his feet at all before he made contact with the player it was a clean hit the only reason it looked bad was because he turned which is his fault for trying to avoid it like an idiot instead of taking the hit
-
@iscaryou Rypien leaps off his skates just before contact. That makes it charging.
-
@IDF1987 loooooool nope u can see him glide for like 5 seconds learn hockey that wasnt even close to a charging penalty let alone a charging major
-
Never turn your back on a hit.. Totally clean.

*roy

Totally roys fault. There was no way rypien could put on the brakes at that speed and truly never should have turned
-
first of all why would he turn his back and second of all is that don taylor and garry vaulk calling the game?
-
Even though he turned (taking away a boarding call) that hit was definitely a charging major.
-
so wut if rypien wanted to set the tone with a big hit, u dont go half ass into a hit, he wasnt in stride he just had speed and lined him up. roy turned late as hell.
-
well.. not dirty imo.. he was going in for a normal hit, roy makes a mistake by turning. Then bam its a hit from behind, obviously rypien wasnt going for a behind hit because he wasnt angled in such a position to hit him so until he turned which was like 0.1 second before they collided. Its that simple.
roy turned his back when he saw rypien coming. my opinion roys fault

Total Idiot move by Roy. Standard hockey camp training is never ever ever turn your back on a check.
If you have the puck, you are open game.
