SF3 Second Impact only links

Features several links that are impossible in Third Strike. Except for the second Hugo combo, these are LINKS, NOT CANCELS.

These cannot be done as they are seen in this video in Third Strike. You may be able to do some under special conditions: if the opponent was crouching, was dizzied by the attack, if the attack was "meaty", or a combination of those.

flash chop to super isn't 2i only i dont think.

It's possible to cancel MP or HP flash chop into super, but the LP Flash Chop link should be extinct in 3rd strike.

Are the Second Impact versions of the characters better than the Third Strike ones?

@Hidun Ah, so if 3S never happened, do you believe that tiers would be similar to 3S with Ken and Yun and Duds without Chun of course.

No one is 100% sure because second impact was abandoned after a year for third strike. The best characters are supposed to be Ibuki and then Gouki, so the tiers would likely be very different.

@NewZen41 Yeap. The game was super unbalanced... Think of how they fixed Vanilla SF4 from being a Sagat/Ryu show to being Super, where everybody was nerfed to fuck... Same idea, only 3S was still difficult to learn and had it's 1-hit deaths... SSF4 has none of that.

One link that does work that Ken does in the beginning... the EX Tatsu to SA3 works on Elena.

Now I see why this game was ignored completely (mostly) on the competitive side; too many overpowered issues and unescapable links..XD.....but it had SEAN, at his A game! That's good enough for canceling those other reasons anyday.

The 1st link with ken is possible in 3s too as far as I know.
