@Xogroroth 2000 years before that as the oldest form of pipe found was egyptian. And as there are over 100 types of pipes around the world it is safe to say that these pipes are "The Scottish War pipe according to english law. We alsao have the reel pipe the celidh pipe the parlour pipe and the border pipe. The english have an old set dating back to the 15th century the Irish have a couple of sets namely the Brian Bhoru and the eilliean. Like Scotland they are mouth blown and bellows blown

Because we love the tune. We're not interested in the politics. That's in the past, thank God. There are lots of great tunes about the Highland Clearances, the Slave Trade, etc. Should we not be playing those either? :)
