  • No offense, she did great, but my friend is a level 8 and does harder skills than this. She actually has a flip flop flip flop layout stepout on beam. She has a handstand on bars. Her bars dismount is two back tucks maybe 3. My coaches would not like this actually.

  • Rule: If you start out by saying "No offense...", you're going to say something you think isn't nice. It doesn't save you from being offensive and just makes you look bad.

It's sweet that you're proud of the skills your friend is working on in practice, but no one competes a double tuck dismount on bars or a flip flop stepout at level 8, honey. They are forbidden D-value skills and a half-point deduction. Your coaches would not like that.

  • I agree with the above comment. It is nice that you are proud of your friend, but you shouldn't show it by putting others down! Also - they are correct - you are incorrect in your facts - double back dismounts and flic flic lay's on beam aren't level 8 skills - and it is 2 back tucks, not 3!

  • nice vault but u tucked ur knees WAAAAAAAAYYYY to early like before u started flipping the tuck u wud have had a better score if u didnt

  • floor was 8.2 at last meet, now 9.2 bars was 7.75? at last meet, now 8.6. beam was 7.8 at last meet, now 7.95. aa 32.975, now 34.5 utterly amazing!

  • I found out on her old blog (The Gymnast Diaries).

  • Drew retired in August after completing level 8 and is now dancing ballet, jazz, and has started clogging. She is still tumbling at her old gym and regularly works out with her old teammates.

  • I'm sorry to hear you quit Drew. I was looking forward to seeing you at level 9. I've been watching your videos for about 3 years now and have really enjoyed them. You really inspired me to work even harder to get to level 8. Everyone retires eventually though, and it's a good thing you have dance. I'm sure you'll do very well with that. Thanks!

    ~Kristen

  • aww i was hoping to see her get first!
