I'll wager that if this Officer (the shooter) was carring both a revolver and a Taser he would have used one of them to control this man laying face down on the concrete with the taser. If he didn't have a taser (weapon) at all he would never have pulled his gun out and used it. In the video before pulling the trigger he held the gun with both hands,stood up,aimed,and fired.The facts are as clear as day.Now,his motives for executing that kid,I don't know because I can't read minds.But note,before the shooting,you can clearly see the officer knee him in the lower back area at least once.

I agree this is way out of line, but not all cops are bad> Alot of them take their life and put it on the line for us. If they is a bad cop, and I am not sure this is a bad cop, I think it was a tragic accident, does it make all cops bad. I don't think people like it when people make generalizations based on skin color, so I don't think people should make generalizations about the police, either.

Dam, was this video not enough proof for that jury to only sentence that cop to a few years in prison? That to me does NOT qualify as just involuntary man slaugther, how unjust. I'm just sad that another 83 arrest were made after the verdict. Guys the city of Oakland didn't do anything wrong, take it out on the stupid cop and whoever the fuck trained him to mistake a gun for a taser, but don't take the anger out on the city.
