  • No mods guys, stock setup kit and i'm using eflite park 480 with parkzone trojan prop and spinner :)

    2 servo's are hitec 82mg

  • G'day Joshua, sorry for the late reply mate..

yes i did adjust the head perpendicular to the main shaft and the balance point is about 12mm in front of the main shaft.

my autogyro also need more forward speed on the turn/ crosswind and downwind to keep the head speed up for lift.

  • All pretty much stock mate, all that was wrong is when the factory assemble the head unit the base plate on blade was inverted. There's no instruction with the kit soo me n my friend had to improvise :)

still sorting out the CG for better handling as i think its still slightly nose heavy.

  • nice hope to get mine in air soon have had it built for few months now starting to get anxious after seeing yours.

  • Great Flight. What motor and battery did you use?

  • Goofy question, Did you adjust your head to be perpendicular to the main shaft. Also, did you balance it off of the top of the rotor head. My gyro flys great into the wind but spears itself as soon as I turn. I think I am loosing head speed.

Thanks for sharing your knowlege with us!

  • Well done I also had the plate reversed ,but did not realize until now ,thanks

  • Awesome job! Not sure what you mean about the inverted base plate?

  • Great demonstration of this new little gem from Hobby King. Did you have to mod much to make it fly that well?

    Once again, GREAT JOB!

  • Champion! Love it. Congrats on the the maiden mate I'm glad it all went well. Can't wait to give it a crack! When are you building the 3D version?
