Woodie, Phillip Anschutz is a good man. He is charitable and more importantly has brought good, moral, and decent films to the big screen, something that this nation lacks. Crusader Crusader was a great concept, but I believe he hired the wrong crew. As for Sahara, I did not enjoy the movie and enjoyed the book even less. If the book is so different than the movie why not film it again? Im sure it will flop in theaters again. But look at the bright side, youll have someone new to blame.

Phillip. Your failure is believing Crusader instead of Clive Cussler. If you actually read his books, you'd understand why the Cussler fans were highly disappointed with Sahara. Matthew is a good actor, but he cannot pull off 6'4" Dirk Pitt. And the Al Gordino actor? Peewee Herman playing Horatio. You owe us fans a sincere apology as well as the author for that blasphemy called Sahara. If you would have involved the fanbase, you could have made a fortune on the series, better than Indiana Jones!
