I prefer asphalt because I'm usually pretty grubby after work and 1 shower a night is plenty...

i also agree plus anyone can drive on pavement it take skill and lots of practice to race like that on dirt... living in belleville (home of the fastest half mile dirt track in the world) i have seen how hard it actually is
like they say dirt is for racing pavement is just to get there

one track is thunder bird (3/8 mile) and the other one is hartford (5/8 mile)both in MI

Hartford speedway in Mi. What a great facility. The Wicked 1/2 mile which is closer to 5/8ths mile. Great memories there!!!!

Great video. Though would have liked to hear the engines and fans. To me, dirt track racing is more real than nascar. The guy racing is someone who you know and thus watching it, the experience is much more intense.

I agree with the sound...but My camera doesn't like race car noise and it makes it sound lame :(
