This made for tv docudrama stars Meredith Baxter-Birney as Betty Broderick, a former San Diego socialite convicted of the November 5, 1989 murder of her former husband Dan Broderick and his second wife, Linda Kolkena. After sixteen years of marriage and four children, Betty Broderick's high-powered attorney husband, Dan Broderick (Stephen Collins), decides to leave her for Linda Kolkena (Michelle Johnson) with whom he's been having an affair. Hurt by his betrayal and feeling helpless against his legal expertise, Betty begins a campaign of vandalism and verbal assault. • @humbl3fact She was suspicious, yes. The scene with the champagne was true. When Betty saw the birthday decorations, it confirmed her worst fears!

Watch the American Justice episode about her. It explains everything about it.

  • Betty probably knew he was cheating. Of course, if your marraige is fucked, its fucked, and you should leave. THe husband however is a coward for not just coming clean and divorcing her. They should have joint custody, placed in separate but good houses, and learn to be civil. Happy ending!

  • 70's Show mom!

  • This lady is out of whack here.

I mean starting with accusing him of cheating & yelling..0:30 plus setting his clothes on 1:09 "Fire".

Christmas Day turns into Spoiled Dispressing Day..9:00 - 9:19.

  • Piece of crap?! Are you kidding me???! I wouldn't care I would go crazy with happiness anyway!

  • A few things:

    1.) Great movie!!!!!

    2.) Betty. Is. A psycho!

3.) Am I the only one who things Stephen Collins is VERY handsome?

  • The way I see the movie portrayed, it never really implies that he is "actually" cheating per say!

It does show that he has interest in Linda though. He starts losing interest in Betty after her jealous rampages and spoiled acts. That is when he wants the separation...Then, I believe, is when he starts having the afair,is during the divorce process..

  • @divalinna I think she was acting like that because he had a very strong instinct that her husband was cheating and acting different.. i think any wife/girlfriend would act like that.. (even though they should leave, most don't they act all crazy.)

  • if thats how she was really behaving, she was too much i would leave her too

  • kitty from that 70's show. i love her.

    ps great movie
