The One- Mindless Behavior Love Story- Chapter Five

"Aight, catch you later!" yelled Prodigy as we both went our seperate ways.

I walked over to my locker and heaved a sigh as I fiddled with my lock.

As I opened it, a small note fell out onto the floor. Confused, I picked it up and
unfolded the paper to read what it had inside.

"Janelle, meet me at the back of the library after school. -Ray Ray"

I read the neat writing over and over until I had it permanently etched in my brain.

I looked to my right and saw Ray Ray staring at me a few feet away while leaning on a locker. Once he saw me look at him, he quickly got up and continued walking down the hall.

I could just barely see a smile on his face.

**One hour later**

I walked into my 2nd period Math class and remembered that I sit to the left of
Ray Ray. He was talking to Dylan and was turned to the right side of his chair.

I slowly sat down and got my book out. Our teacher came in and told us to quiet down. He started lecturing us about some kind of complicated Algebra equations that I normally did not understand but Ray Ray always did.

I was so tired from not being able to sleep last night that I laid my head down on the desk and tried to drown out the teacher's voice.

I was awoken of my trance to see a note fly onto my desk. I opened up the piece of paper and read it's contents.

"You okay?"

I looked to my right and saw Ray Ray looking at me with his eyebrows raised.

I smiled lazily and wrote back, "I'm fine, just tired."

I flung the paper onto his desk and laid my head in my arms, watching for another note to come flying back towards me. A few seconds later, the note came back.

"You look nice today."

I smirked and wrote back, "It's my young swag" and flung the note back onto his desk.

I watched him open it and smile. He shook his head and went back to his homework.

**After school**

As I walked to the library, I texted Princeton telling him that I'll be coming home later. I anxiously stepped to the back wall of the library and peered around the corner to see if anyone was there. I recognized Ray Ray's pigtails from the back so I started to walk towards him.

"Hey Ray Ray" I said quietly.

He whirled around, "Oh hey, thanks for meeting me."

"Your welcome."

"So umm, I'm pretty sure Princeton told you, right?" he looked at me with one
eyebrow raised.

"Yeah." I said with a smile.

"Well Janelle, you know I really like you. I honestly can't get you off my mind." He grabbed one of my hands and caressed it with his other. "I just really wanted you to know that I have feelings for you. I love you."

I was so starstruck I couldn't say a word. I could feel my heart thumping.

"So I just wanted to know if you wanted to be my girlfriend?" he asked.

"Yes. Of course I'll be your girlfriend." I smiled.

Ray Ray grinned from ear to ear and pulled me into a tight hug. After a few seconds, he broke the hug.

"I'll walk you home, is that okay?" he asked sweetly.

"Of course."

He took my hand and we started walking towards my house.

It was starting to get dark and the sky was turning a bluish-purple. We began to talk but it wasn't awkward at all. He kept looking at me and smiling to himself.

Once we reached my house, Ray Ray pulled me close to him and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"I love you" he whispered as we touched foreheads.

"I love you too." I replied quietly.

"I'll text you. Sweet dreams." He gently kissed my cheek and walked away with his hands in his pockets.

I slowly turned and opened the door to my house, biting my lip. I walked in and Princeton started to run down the stairs.

"So how'd it go? How's Ray Ray?" he smirked.

But all I could do was smile.
