MacBook Air vs Thinkpad X300

i dont get what all the hate on vista is about its a perfectly good operating system im using it right now

lenovo FTW. macbook air is aptly named air.

Thinkpads are tough, well-built machines and easy to fix since their HMMs are easily available .
Thats why all my laptops are IBM/Lenovo Thinkpads (570E T22 X30 T61 and X200)

Vista isn't bad, its just not as easy to use as xp or 7 or OSX

have windows 7 for my bootcamp and it works pretty well but still prefer OSX :P

never had any problems with my macbook so no manuals were needed :P and for the usage? OSX is much easier then windows

Don't mistake ease for simplicity! Mac OSX is certainly simple, but not always easy. Give 7 a try, too. While I've yet to try it myself, I hear nothing but good things from all sides.

You may not appreciate the HMMs yet, but I know some users that don't mind getting their hands dirty--they were able to follow the HMM and replace a seized T43 fan that was covered in dust. You have to admit, this is a trivial problem that would probably set you back a few bucks to get serviced, were it an Apple.
