A clip showing that just because a person uses samples to make music doesn't mean they need to! I chop samples because I love it. It's an art form to me. I am a musician. I play keys and a host of other instruments. But, I still like to sample. Enjoy the music!!! By the way, every song was created using reason 4!

  • i'm not gonna post too much hate here, cuz youre obviously a talented musician... but these beats sound a little plain... like, they sound like all the other producers in the top40 game's beats... the difference is they are afraid to/cant sample because their label wont pay to clear the sample... but seriously, wheres the soul?

  • Just wanted to show that I will survive without samples. Opinion respected though.

  • Eventhough Youtube is having a bad day, this is still great to watch! You're a great producer and and a great lyricist. I don't see anybody topping the 'Planets' album for another ten years bro. You're a huge inspiration and I love to see you're still doing your thing. Keep up the hiphop! Much love and respect from Holland. Peace,

    Magnum

  • Thanks and Maximum Love!!! People like you are an inspiration to me!!!

    Hotep!

  • nvm i looked ya up...u got history bruh....much respect

  • Thx! Sampling is like exercise, the more you do it the better you get. I just happen to have 20 years in it. I was sampling before I knew what a chord was. I taught myself how to get around on a keyboard because it is still about music. Sampling is great, but don t let it be all you know how to do. Kunalk, I wish you better health for the future!!!!

  • going through all my favorite vids, this is so ill. props for being a digger and knowing how to switch it up on em

  • I LOVE THIS VIDEO! Finally someone calls out all the people who haven't yet realized that sampling is, in deed harder than composing. I can compose a beat, no problem, but when I try to switch it up and go "sample-based," it gives me hell trying to get it right.

Nice video, dude. You have much talent.

  • shit fire my dude real talk!

  • Now I gotta go to the MALL and get me a NECKBRACE!!... Jesse West is PURE DOPENESS!!!

  • The beats are nice, their catchy they got bounce their well written and well produced, the only reason some of you guys are being negative is coz of he's ego. If he was being humble then he probably wouldn't of got any negative feedback

  • dope beats man

  • Some people here are judging this cat with super high standards. I mean it sounds real coo and professional. Some people.... I dunno, let me here their beats and lets run a comparison.

  • Your beats aren't that good dude, jus MY opinion.

  • Nigga you go super hard fa sho

  • It is good to have a mixture of both samples and the abilitiy to play an instrument. When you can do this people that do not like hip hop have to respect you. It leaves no excuse, and makes you more versatile.
