I remember when mine had a 6 banger in it. It sucked and I won't miss it.

Snort... My 66 sat over 8 years, and my son had never heard it run. One sunday I thought I'd let him hear it run, and drive it around the cul-de-sac. I filled the tires, added some brake fluid, threw in a battery, poured a little gas down the carb, pumped the pedal a few times, and the frigging thing started in less than 20 seconds. Stunk like hell from the bad gas, but it ran. 289V8 2bl.

ive got a 66 with the straight 6 200 cubic inch!
PUT PREMIUM GAS IN HER! ITS THE ONLY THING I PUT IN MINE

I think the car is great, and the fact that its a 6 actually makes it kind of rare. My 66 has the 200. Just means you get great gas mileage.

It is better to use gas. Starter fluid is never good to use. It is only good for small engines.
