Emerald City Design - Meals On Wheels

'Massive delivers Meals on Wheels' VFX program Massive was used to bring to life a historical postcard-like tableau of 1950s Melbourne and 1970s Sydney.

Massive offered us great flexibility in developing and designing scenes for Meals on Wheels. For the street scenes many people were created and animated to bring a vibrancy and life to the beautifully designed matte paintings.

We created a number of 1950s gentlemen with winter coats, hats, waistcoats and business suits. Ladies skirts, jackets, hand bags and other clothing from the period were also created.

With Massive you have the ability to create photo real characters that suit the period or style required, and in this case treat them to work in with a stylised environment. This adds another dimension to environmental design.
We complimented our Massive people with 3D cars of the period. Drivers and passengers were also added to the vehicles to enhance the believability of the cities and other environments.
