A song by Children of Nandi, a South African/Zimbabwe duo based in Zurich Switzerland and Johannesburg, South Africa. This song was a massive hit in Zimbabwe in 1986 and stayed in the charts for months. It's now a classic which made every Zimbabwean, of whatever colour or creed proud. It is a song of hope.

  • what a beautiful oldie song...

  • Until Mugabe dies and Zanu concede to real democracy, Zimbabwe will always be a poor, horrific country blaming the rest of the world for the problems they give themselves. The government spend any money they do have on a military to keep this terrible state of affairs steady, because they know they can never win a fair vote again. The people are in fear of the government, the government in fear of the people and each other. So sad.

  • @22jan51 Do a search for the song it is on dariro.co.zw site

  • What I pleasure to hear this hopeful song, I am from Brazil but since 1987 I have contact with this country due some cultural interchanging contact. See our channel. Byt the way can someone write the lirycs? A friend of mine miss mchigubu also is sharing this song. Tatenda

  • zim a nyc country,i luv t 2 the maximo

  • BONJOUR LES AMIS

  • What is most important is the resilience of the poeple. Even if ZANU stays in power for another 20 years, one day, it is going to fall. Even the pharaohs of Egypt are now mummies.
