this isn't funny, it's a disease that causes extreme suffering, I would have killed it on the spot to stop it from spreading in the area.

I think you have your biology backwards, the animals that are prized are the ones that need to be removed, by the time a deer gets to be a trophy, their getting to the end of their lives, been through a few breeding seasons already, supplying us with more prized animals, not less.
we hunters look for help our herds by taking out the older, weaker males and leaving the stronger bucks to take over, we also take bucks that aren't growing right, specifically spike or under sized antlers.

it's a disease similar to herpes, it cause almost horn like mounts to come out of everywhere on the body, most commonly around the mouth and the eyes, that's the black things under the mouth of this animal.
