if no 4x4 audi audi has dismissed simply can not continue with their creations and for image and audio you can not make 180 or donuts or burnauts bmw is no problem

But we could speculate about it for centuries. You've got your opinion, and i've got mine.
The thing is.. For me, a car that is meant to travel in a road wh other people are driving, shouldn't go sideways when you're late to work in a rainy day, and still want to rush. I prefer the safety side, but some old people don't even know where the traction is in a Bmw and then get a surprise when they floor it in a corner and crash the rear into oncoming traffic. Fun is on the track, not on the road

I don't disagree on most of what you said, except for the speed around corners. Don't forget that the m3 has two wheels giving you power pulling you forward and two dead wheels telling the back wheels where the car has to go, while the Audi 100 or the S4 quattro has two wheels giving you power and two wheels in the front that are not dead and pull you where you want to go. You got the RWD, plus that. I don't think if you added traction in the front wheels of a bmw it would be any bad, would it?

@stocklausen Adding to this, the new Quattro is way too much on security.
A friend of mine had an S3 and a TT - S before he bought the new RS3.All thos cars are nicely quick, but they don't allow you those nice driving manouvers of the old days. If you take the 100 Quattro, you can make donuts on asphalt. Even in dry conditions, even though it's not very good for the cars health, the new ones don't allow that anymore. That's why I said, DSG, probably ESP aswell and the Mdriver slept.

@VolkswagenGolfMK3 We got an Audi 100 S4 Quattro with the good old 5 cylindre 20V Turbo engine. It works really good and I like the car, that's why I said I respect the Quattro system. I've seen how it works. But if you look at the BMW M-Tech2 I have in my vids, that car was way more fun.
50 - 50 weight repartition and a weight of only 1125kg on about 180hp. No Formula one car, but already on dry track you could slide through corners without being slow.
The Audi can't do that!

@stocklausen It depends on the lenght of accelerations we're talking about. Obviously i think everyone here agrees that S3 was faster in that lenght. As m3 has a bigger engine, then it might go faster later. By the way.. Quattro is one kind of 4 wheel drive. Quattro and DSG were developed by VW and Audi and they impose respect indeed. I personally already drove a Quattro and an M3 and i ensure you that you wouldn't say "oops" like that Bmw driver said: search for "M6 Drift Fail"

@VolkswagenGolfMK3 It's nice to dream. The Audi is not quick enough to beat an M3 in pure acceleration. This was just possible here, because the M3 driver never learned the difference between a steering wheel and those pedals in the room underneath.Quattro is good, I respect it, but driving is not being helped by ESP, launch control and maybe DSG and 4 wheel drive. If you're quick in and out of corners with a rear wheel drive car, than you're good.Audi doesn't offer that, oops!
