This is a great planes kit I think. I bought one when I first started flying. It was my third plane. Its not had to fly but landing can be trick. Snap rolls can be very fast, and taxi can be tough if you are just learning. Likes lots of rudder.
been flying my pitts for years and it still ends up in the grass sometimes. Good trick with this plane is climb vertical and right before stall smash both sticks in the top left corners.Still my favorite plane and was the third one I owned when I was learning.
Don't feel bad my pitts has been upside down more thn once. Nothing like doing spins and tumbles to finish it off with a terrible landing. You have to get a smoke pump my pitts looks so real with smoke.
Well, thanks for the nice compliment! There's quite a learning curve with gas. Watch carefully right before I taxi out. I actually bent over to check those very screws that backed out!
In the pilots defense, the wing was coming loose and he wanted to bring it in fast. Better just a broken prop than a wing detach and no plane. He's a great pilot and has that pitts flying awesome! I love that engine!
my pitts needs locktite and lock nuts on every flight.and the sheet metal screws need to be glued in.
