This video shows you how to install locking type laminate under a door jam. Don't try to do the last row and slide it under the jam. You need to place two rows into the space and cut the locking lip off the tongue of the second row from jam. Place some glue on tongue. Press down while sliding into place. Remember you must have enough space so you can slide it all the way to the wall and then tap laminate towards you to lock in to place as shown.

My cat helps me with all my jobs!

  • Ok. but is this click flooring and if yes do you have a video showing how to trim it.

  • @TurnEhDogh

This is not click lock flooring. So I don't have a video showing the trimming. I use a Magnum shear to cut the planks to length. There is no dust with this tool, so you can cut all the wood inside 2 feet away from your work area. The tight trimming is done with a jig saw outside with a mask.
