Discs of Tron Arcade

This is a childhood dream come true. When I was a kid I would spend hours on end at the local arcade playing Discs of Tron and now I actually own it! This is video of the first time I fired up the machine after moving it into my cluttered garage. From the crackle of the speakers to the glow of the blacklight against the clear blue joystick this machine absolutely captured my imagination as a kid and continues to bring back those nostalgic feelings today. The plan is to eventually remodel our garage into a retro gameroom and DOT along with the old starwars vector graphics arcade machine (which you can barely make out on the left) will be the center pieces!

I never thought until 7 years ago that there actually was a discs wars-like game of Tron. The tune at the end is kind and warm, i must say. Congrats on making your dream come true.

P.s. Funnily, i was born in 1982 and did not understand much of Tron at age 4 x) but the movie poster (the one with Yori and Tron) inspired me a lot and made me wish to see the film. When i discovered the arcade game, i went nuts
