  • I wonder if women could bring in a sample of amniotic fluid in a jar?

So many times I have clients losing fluids to be sent home like this over and over (pads are so absorbant it's hard to get anything off them). They are told it is discharge or urine - only to go back in in a few hours and get a positive result on the ferning-microscope or Litmus paper.

  • @MadreMaven I should have done that!

  • That nurse sounds like she needs to be re-trained or she needs to find a different profession! I would have been so upset with that attitude. So glad everything worked out and you and baby were healthy!!

  • I had to grieve the loss of the birth I wanted too. It's NO fun! But we're stronger mothers for it :)
