Actually without a successful offense the defense would be shit.The offense has to have possession on the ball for at least 3-6 minutes.That's why running the ball is a big factor.While the defense is on the bench regaining their energy.So when the defense gets back on the field.BAM BAM BAM!Thats what people don't get.

Ok so I looked it up and if the Cowboys beat the Redskins tomorrow, they clinched the playoffs and NFC East. If they lose, there out there is no chance, no wildcard. If the Redskins win they clinch the NFC East and make playoffs but if they lose they need the Vikings to lose and Chicago to lose. The vikings are playing green bay and the bears are playing detriot. If the Giants win, they need the Vikings, Bears, and the Cowboys to lose to have wild card. So for the cowboys just need a win!

If the Skins lose to the Cowboys next week then they would need Chicago to lose as well to get in as the second wildcard. They would hold the tiebreaker over them due a better conference record. The Giants lose today so they are officially out.

well now the Redskins won and the cowboys lost. So what if the Cowboys beat the Redskins next weekend? Won't the Redskins still make it to the playoffs even if they lose to the Cowboys? I think so.
