Automobiles are the one of the largest value purchases made by individuals to support their personal activities. In-Rapido has been designed to cater to the personal needs of urban India, it is a PMV (Personal Mobility Vehicle) which adds value to the user both in terms of functionality and aesthetics.
This mighty beast for the urban Indian of 2016 is called by the name "In-Rapido" which means rapidly in Italian. In the name In-Rapido, "In" means India and "Rapido" means swift/rapid in Italian, as this PMV is set to put India on the fast track by providing better, efficient and compact personal mobility solution especially for the urban population who look forward to identify themselves with their vehicles. It can be noticed that urban population always want to make a style statement in every activity they perform. In-Rapido has a unique style of getting in and out of the vehicle which would appeal to the urban population of 2016. This feature is not just for style but a function in itself as it makes the vehicle occupy lesser parking space, as there are no side doors for getting in and out.
This PMV makes use of the horizon technologies. In-Rapido is an IV (Intelligent Vehicle), completely equipped with advanced parking assist, low speed ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control), LKA (Lane-Keeping Assistance), AFS (Adaptive Front Lighting),Night Vision, Headway Advisory, Collision warning, Rollover countermeasures, Pedestrian detection and road surface condition monitoring.
It is propelled by two electric motor mounted directed on the wheels which are powered by the green technology of Fuel Cells. The DLO is designed to give a complete view to the driver except the rear which is obtained by the rear facing video camera. The video captured is displayed on the driver's console screen along with the DRMs (Digital Road Maps). These DRMs help in easy movement inside the city and in unknown places.
Overall In-Rapido is a complete green future personal mobility package for urban India of 2016.
