Witness

Acoustic version of Witness, tribute to Hull's formerly fourth best band, the Gargoyles. Apologies that tune and lyrics are best as memory serves - though I still have my Mrs TwoDinners, this being the 21st century I haven't been able to play the disc for fifteen years.
I've seen the Ferry Across the Humber but does anyone have more footage of the Gargolyes? It is your civic duty to upload.

Hiya Feller! You got most of the lyrics right, In fact it is very good lyricwise, The only fault I can find is in the second and third chorus, before the "None today thanks" line, where it should be milkman.....

I've clearly got too much time on my hands at work today......

My apologies also - I deliberately mess with the whose-at-the-door line in the chorus, to localise it a little I'm many years and thousands of miles from Hull nowadays; I do still miss the Adelphi :(

lol, my mate taped me the gargoyles, but i lost the tape, i used to sing this all the time, and i still do when they come bangin on the door :D i liked the jousting trews song they did :D
