My reason for switching to the DiMarzio 'Area' pickups is for the reason of less (NO) noise. Otherwise, I would not have any complaints :-)

You should have put a Fast Track T in the bridge instead of the Hot Area T. better sound in my opinion. has the tele twang and original character but it can adapt when high gain is needed and the notes sound so clear, like singing.
