This gal is freaking awesome. I am brazilian and I can hardly notice the foreign accent in her portuguese. I dare say she even got some of the "mojo", of the laidbackness that distinguishes brazilian portuguese from Portugal's, for instance. The first time I heard some of her stuff I thought she was daughter to people from Brazil or something like that. Plus, she's an incredible instrumentist, sings beautifully and OMG, she got rhythm.
