Beautiful Blue Butterfly...
Wings so delicate; a vision so rare.
Momentarily suspended before my eyes,
In the coolness of the evening air.

Awareness began to arise within...
Once departed from my sight,
Life never to be the same.
Relish her beauty...I must...
And with grateful heart, be thankful;
It was for me...that she came.

Flying is all Blue Butterfly knows...
Vanishing from my sight,
As a gentle wind blows.

Fly...Blue Butterfly...Fly..
Through skies of blue, laced with white;
Aware that my love with you will go,
On this...your solitair plight.

For I still consider you to be...
My Beautiful, Rare, Blue Butterfly...
God given..to me.

My 23 year old son passed away 6 years ago, Dec. 22. It's a long story about why a blue butterfly, but he always sends me signs in the form of blue morph butterflies to let me know he is still watching over me. On this Dec. 22, I believe he sent me to your site to let me know he was near that day. By changing just a few words, this could have been about him. Thank-you for the beautiful tribute. It brought tears to my eyes and peace to my soul.

Butterflies do teach us gratitude is a way of life. I recently asked a blur morphil to land on my hand so that I could make its beautiful blue wings immortal forever. I held my hand up with the back of it facing up and it circled around me and landed looking right into my eyes. It opened its huge metalic wings three times slowely and then took flight . I could feel the gentle air of its wings. Funny looks my way as I talked to it but when it landed they crowded around .Still no picture :D
