I love my church and this is a little something that newsong does once in a while like 3 times a year. this is just a little entertainment for u (at church) who come to our church

pathetic... Entertaining people right into a sense of false security. Oh, that's right, I'm not hip enough to understand how "the cool" churches do it today, right?

What if all the money that went into this type of production INSTEAD went toward the millions of hungry homeless orphans around the world?
Or what if the amount of time that went into putting on this type of production INSTEAD went toward praying for the persecuted church and writing letters to Christian prisoners around the world?
What if people stopped thinking they had to be entertained in order to feel like they had a "spiritual experience" and actually worshipped God from the heart?

I was there! Cool like nothing I ever expected. I remember 1. a cool song at the end with everyone bouncing up and down, 2. a testimony from a girl with painful experiences (but that was memorable only because they made a big deal of one person's suffering when we ALL have our sad little boohoo stories) and 3. that it all seemed more like a rock concert than an Easter service. The whole thing was awesomely entertaining!
