  • Your a lucky man. I would trade you my house any day for what you have!

  • Thank you for your kind comment

  • Be carefull with giving him alfalfa cubes dry. It'll give him choke and could kill him. If you put 4-5 big handfulls in a bucket and put about a half a gallon of water moreif it'll hold it, , it'll soak it all up and feed it to him then. It's like catnip for them. lol nice place

  • Thanks for the info. We no longer have Bo but this is good to know if we get a donkey or horse in the future.

  • Your living the dream...May You & your family have wonderful lives ahead! I hope I can live like this someday

  • Thank you fro your kind comment. Just 6 years ago we were living in a 2 bedroom cockroach infested apartment. It did not take too much for us to make the adjustment to cottage farming.

  • dude you sound mad depressed

  • i think somebody with a dodge ram cummins left at the end of the video :-)

    Nice homestead

  • @ooonurse33 I was actually thinking of Ultrasound Sonography! I'm thinking that'd be pretty stable of a career, too, and less impacted than nursing is right now. I know sooo many people who are trying to get into a nursing program and are stuck on a wait list. Proof that it's a good career, though! :]

  • @empouse Nursing is a good rural occupation, well paid and usually in demand anywhere despite the economy being good or bad. I work in a Nursing home as a Registered Practical Nurse, make aprox 25/hr plus in lieu (of benefits) pay, we can live on part time hours so far. Hope you find your partner too:)

  • @empouse

Get a good job, save ALL your money and do it.

  • nice

  • This is what I want when I'm older. I'm 16 now, and I'm sick of the rat race already. I just need to find someone that wants this way of life, too, to spend the rest of my life with. :] Oh, and decide on a career that is stable enough to provide for me in rural areas. Once I get that figured out, I'm gone. :D Chickens, Goats, Horses, Cows, and sustainability, here I come!

  • What do you do with a mule?

  • this is how livestock should be raised, not imprisoned in filthy confinement the way large producers do....God bless

  • I dream of farm life, you're video has helped me get my "fix"

it seems like homestead ownership is so far away and hard to achieve.
