Los Angeles Metro Rail Gold Line ELA Union Station to Pico Aliso

Enjoy the exploration of East Los Angeles from the new Gold LIne Extension. Take a ride from Union Station to Little Tokyo and Pico Aliso. Non-editied video shows a rider getting caught for no fare - ticketed for a big fine over $200. As of November 15, 2009, the Gold Line now runs south from Pasadena to downtown Los Angeles and continues east from Union Station to Atlantic Blvd. This video was captured on November 18, 2009.

I think it is great idea to build metro and light rail to reduce car pollution! They should build more! Thanks for sharing. I´m public transport enthusiast and I like to listen train announcement! I like a mixture of street and elevated alignment.

There are plans being developed to extend the light rail system all the way to Santa Monica. This will reduce the traffic that is most congested from LA to the west beaches.
