@annie8nicole I KNO UR NOT ASKIN' MY BUT IT PROBLY BE A GOOD IDEA TO TAKE IT TO A PET STORE THAT SELLS REPTILES TO SEE IF THEY CAN HELP.

hey around a week ago when i came back frome school i found a red eared-sleder turtel in the middle of the street (think someone must have just left it ther :/ ) .. anw i took it with me feed it with mincemeat and shrimps and some variety of plants now its eating and drinking well but atm coz i dont have a tank nor have money for one i keep it on the balcony with a shallow bowl of water but i dont think its enough to keep it healthy could you give me any advice on what i could do pls its vital

you should also make sure there's plenty of calcium in it's diet. Red eared sliders are carnivorous and small guppies and gold fish which have bones are a good source of calcium for these turtles

he's right by a big east-facing window and gets plenty of natural sunlight.
he eats turtle food, grapes, goldfish and a few other odds and ends from the kitchen.

Wow red eared slider has some serious shell problems :S maybe you should take her to the vet? theres not supposed to be any white patches on her shell at all :(

no it's just where the scutes are starting to detach. he's constantly shedding scutes.
