Leaders in Education and Diversity turned Shakopee High School commons into a dance floor Wednesday. The students performed a flash mob with international flair during all three lunch hours.
Wearing masks and long sleeves to hide their skin color and identities, the students performed tradional Native American, Asian, Africans and Latin American dances.
They then came together for N'Sync's "Bye Bye Bye" to say goodbye to their classmates over winter break.
The students chose to hide their identities to show "we're all one and we're all LEAD and we're all united in doing this one cool thing together," said adviser Cris Oxtra.
