Lee is one of the very best ever , completely forgotten most of the time it seems now days....His ability was just amazing and a lot of the young guys who just seem to think about swing rather than playing the game could learn so much from him.......most of the young generation seem to think that golfers didn't exsist before Tiger .I asked some 16 year old boys the other day at my club what they thought of Lee Trevino and Greg Norman and their reply was 'who ' ? very funny ! I had to laugh

The King!! What this guy does, the angeled hinge, an actual squared clubface on top (what you normally would called a shut face), no classic release, and big focus on a lateral movement on the downswing is the salvation for almost every golfer. Trevino's swing gives you compression, direction and (by sweet spot accuracy) distance.... You can read up more on this type of sving in a book by Joe Dante called "Four magic moves to winning golf" (1962). Give it a read! Same ideas as Lee express here.
