@bridaco Go back and read all my posts before speaking out of your ass, Thank You.

@epituchano thank u so much for explaining it to me ,i've been wondering about that for years and asked many people thru out the years and no one knew .thanks

@epituchano I didn't say that the South was perfect, I was just pointing to the fact that whenever someone who hails from the South is proud of it, somebody calls them racist. Proud Germans are not called Nazis.
-
@toweringmatt I'm a proud New Englander, even though Boston profited indirectly from slave commerce. That is a moral failure that I recognize. It's okay to recognize the moral failure of one's homeland and still be proud.
Through SHA, Lynyrd Skynyrd has sent a veiled and possibly racist message. Dissing Neil Young's songs criticizing slavery and the treatment of African Americans, as well as criticizing George Wallace's change of heart, perpetuates prejudices.

@xaxa835 Neil Young wrote a song titled "Southern Man". In it, he describes slavery from a third-person perspective. In SHA, Lynyrd Skynyrd dismiss Young's criticism of slavery and Southern culture before the Civil War.

@MrDookieBootie Hell you weren't alive then!
LIVE NOW OR SHUT UP!
The way you ACT expresses the desire for an apology. Your words hear scream for one. Just shut up. Quit living in the past you!
-
@epituchano Apparently being proud of your home is blatantly racist now.

@bluesuitedone This song linked with irony really does remind me of Con Air... You do have a point though a black politian here made a comment about white people... that was okay but if a white person had that would have caused a huge fuss.

Gary Rossington and Allen Collins two great guitarists.

whats the beef with Neil Young?

I find it an irony me and my wife fight to defend free speech but only the minorites have the freedom to say what they feel, as commented on here the rest of us have the thought police on our backs. I am not racist or anything else but i am sick of my race constantly having to apologise for the past. My generation were not alive we comitted no crime. Maybe its me but common sense has gone out the window to political correctness
