Notice that these "officers" are trained to refer to humans as "subjects." Subject to what? The their tyranny, torture, abuse, and murder.

If you watch this video, make sure to watch all five parts. Seriously. You won't even believe it. I think it's the 4th part or so where they start talking about why they killed him: Because he was bloody.

Dumb question if they were so afraid of this guy that two officers with tasers and guns couldn't handle him, why not call for back up?

the man was right not to lay on the ground with burns to his abdomen. i recently went to a funeral of a man who had died of complications of burns to his abdomen. it's not something to mess around with.
also you do not electrocute a burn victim or shoot them. so put that in your "training" !!

i just found this:
The city of Sandy and (former) city police officer William Bergin have settled out of court, for $1 million to dismiss the civil case against the city and Bergin. (2009)
Clackamas County to pay $1 million (settled out of court, March 2010)
both the city of Sandy and Clackamas County continue to deny that the police engaged in any wrongdoing. rot in hell

only in america can you get away with this shit...........or iran
I just cried for the family of this poor man. What in all of heaven could these below-room temperature-IQ "police officers" be afraid of, a man not threatening them until they started tormenting/torturing him. Hopefully, the family can sue the "police officers" and their departments for wrongful death. I am not a fan of the ACLU, but where are they, they seem to be everywhere for other offenses, this should be right up their alley.

"Hopefully, the family can sue the "police officers" and their department"
Indeed. The family has retained the infamous Gerry Spence (of Silkwood, Randy Weaver, etc. fame) as their attorney and are proceeding with a wrongful death lawsuit. Incidentally, Spence et al just won a landmark case against the Patriot Act in Portland, regarding what happened to Brandon Mayfield. Look it up. :-)

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Some departments authorize the use of tasers for any kind of resistance. He clearly was resisting. Oh, and catatonic state? Kind of like ...... druged out people act????

"catatonic state? Kind of like ...... druged out people act????"
Kinda like people who have been burned and in a wreck act. Oh. And check the toxicology report. CLEAN. Not that drugs give you the right to kill, either, pig.

What I don't understand is how a jury could clear these guys. They rolled up and shot him in 28 seconds. They didn't have a 20 minute convo with the guy about laying down. The real failures in all this is the justice system of your united states. Sure the cops were incompetant, doesn't change the fact that the jury let them go. The blood is on the jury's hands imo.

It wasn't a jury, it was a grand jury. A grand jury is a secret proceeding, and is stacked. The DA is on the side of the police, and can call (or not call) whomever they please. They do not have to present all evidence. This is a common occurrence.
