These bloody beeps piss me off, too. It's not about censorship, it's about hypocrisy in US media. We all know which words are being bleeped (shit & fuck, basically), while you can say 'crap' or 'screw you' without any problem. Though they mean the very same.

What's the point other than being fucking annoying and thus ruining the whole experience? Exactly, it's called fucking with people.
