READ DESCRIPTION:
For People having trouble understanding english, I have a script that I wrote for this video. Have fun reading!
Script: i started with writing lyrics and poems. A little secret tip of mine that i don't normally share and which was used for life is like a medley was, go to a random quote site and take the last few words of a quote but the word sequence must make sense (or not if you wanna be original), then you got a song title or an idea for a line in a verse, for example 'love is not ours to command' in the second verse in life is like a medley was taken from a quote. So then you can kinda from a title for a song make up a story in your head. exactly HOW the whole song is going to go. Try make the audience want to know what happens in the story or wonder why you are singing what you are singing about in the beginning. When you've got a poem or some lyrics you mostly need an instrument, (guitar or piano works the best) and start working on chord sequences. When you've got one that kind of sounds good, try just kind of singing your lyrics to match the chord sequence. over and over again till it sounds right (mostly works better when you are alone caus then you arent scared to belt) and i normally start with the verses. then VERY IMPORTANT: really really make sure that your chorus sounds different to your verses to creat diversity in the song. Try unique sounds and if your melody suddenly sounds like a song you know. LEAVE the song. go to bed, do whatever caus by then you are so desperate that you are thinking too hard and songs from your subconsciousness come to your mind and you think its your own song and its soooo dissapointing. Best tip of the day, sleep on it. and the next day so many new ideas will come. Cheat CHEAT: if you are really not succeeding in chord sequences, then learn a few chord sequences from songs from artists or songs you like (through tutorials or so) and then try different melodies to it until you find one that you like and that fits with your lyrics. There are lots of chords sequences used over and over again for different famous songs, so its not stealing, you can make up your own melody to the chords ;) bridges arent really neccessary so dont be worried if you don't have one. 2 verses are mostly neccessary, but hey you can be different if you want and like make 7 bridges and no verse or chorus. nowadays everything works. try make an good ending also by ending the story, (doesnt have to be resolved but at least please the audience to some extent) and thats about it.
peace out ;)

If you dont use the song for commercial purposes (as in make money with it) , then i think it's fine. If you are planning to make money with a song i think there might be some copyright issues involved!
