@queenlashea don't be so shallow.. it has nothing to do with color...talent is measured by the individual not by the race.I love this band and Alexis is beautiful but influence comes from all backgrounds.

Wow, what a stupid racial debate
Does it really matter who does what first?
As long as everybody contributes and understand who "created" said thing, then surely that's enough?
Music is music, it comes from a long lineage that is far to difficult to trace back in certain areas so it's pretty much irrelevant in my book

@queenlashea not to mention jimmy hendrix, robert johnson, etc. ;)

I get that its not a "racial thing," but a lot of black people don't want to affiliate with rock cause they think its a "white thing." So it's nice to know they are black people out their informed enough to mention the contributions that blacks have made to the rock/metal genres and sub-genres.

@madamebrutality fuck you

It is hard enough for women in the industry, especially in metal. I love it<3 Kudos gf. and to all those who want to throw race cards, metal has more genres than any other style, we should be proud we are so diverse. One big ass happy family, but no!! NOTE: before you wanna go talking crap get your ass out there on stage and stop hiding behind a puter screen. THEN TALK!!

@bwov08 no she looks like a light brown black girl lol, even more so with her kickass braids

The race card... Who the f@%# cares!!! In my opinion music is for everyone to enjoy, besides Straight line stitch kicks ass! Love you Straight Line Stitch keep doing what you're doing! Oh f@%# all those ignorant, close minded, haters who don't have anything better to do than just bitch and hate...

making the video JULY 20 !!
thats my bday !
I love it when Black people get back to their roots...if it was not for people such as Chuck Berry, Willie Mae "Big Mama" Thornton in 1952( who originally recorded "hound dog", and Bo diddly, rock/metal music would not exist.
