When you do it set up like a kick flip position at a a slight angle just like he said and Ollie than turn as your sliding make sure your heel doesn't touch drag on the ledge or you'll just lock on and won't slide commit and lock on complete and look forward your shoulders have to be parallel with the ledge it takes a Lil time to adjusting hope this help :)
