  • Unfortunately not every disability looks the way you want it to. One example is neurological disorders which are inconsistent. Some days you cannot walk, some days you can. On the days you can it is painful but a blessing to actually walk.

Sometimes the newly disabled have the temporary cards while waiting for the proper documentation.

  • This video is ridiculous. How do you not know that everybody using the other spaces is not actually handicapped? Just because you didnt see them? They offered me a license plate with the symbol on it, but because I often use multiple cars because mine is not that reliable. To say that the placards are some how "less real" than the license plates is just ignorant.

  • Yes I agree not every disabled looks the way you want it to , Reguardless people should not park in handicapped spots unless they have the right. I work at a department store and I face that battle everyday being cussed out by customers only because they park on the yellow lines that blocks me from getting out on my van lift. Every evening after work , they have me blocked by parking on the yellow stripes that prevents me from get in my van... Have to go back in the store and have them paged.

  • @jennijenlynn i have dmd and cannot walk at all...but i rarely use the spot since i load from the rear in my chair. I saw my friend got yelled at for parking in one by another wheelchair goer...he has a heart condition....my friend that is.

  • another probles is alot of places do not have enough disabled parking spots.

  • Blue placards are not temporary...red ones are. You should probably get your facts straight before posting. I have the plate for my car, and a blue placard for if somebody else drives me. Both are permanent.

  • @RollJob88 I would like to see you try to self propell yourself in a manual wheelchair... and you clearly do not quite understand the point of disabled parking, the spaces are wider, or have line markings either side of the space, for wheelchair access.

If you do not want to use your legs, I suggest you either go and break your spine, or have your legs amuputated.

  • I'm sure the people with the temporary tags from knee or hip surgery or broken bones won't mind walking, they definitely need their tags taken away!

If this is a big problem everywhere you live, lobby the state to increase the percentage of spaces businesses need to designate as handicapped.

  • he seemed to wheel around just fine to me. and look at me using my legs like a sucker.

  • so wait dont the disable have to move around far no matter what?

  • cry cry more
