Hey, I have a question. Alot of times people assume I am a guy (I'm an ftm) and then they aren't always sure so they ask if i'm a boy or girl. I'm in 8th grade and I'd hate for rumors to go around saying i'm intersex, but i'd rather tell them that then saying i'm a girl because then they would NEVER refer to me as "he, him, his, etc." So, what do you think is a good idea to tell people if that question ever comes up again? Any answers will be appreciated:)

honestly the likelyhood of straight people even knowing what intersex is is pretty slim, people will talk and they will spread rumours, mostly likely that you are a "tranny" which will suck for you. The important thing is just to stay strong. Are you out as trans or is that not an option right now?

@littleAvey Well i'm pretty open about being trans and it's pretty obvious with the way i act. Most of the time my other trans friend will call me "he, him, his, Jeydon, etc." so that helps. And when i meet new people i introduce myself as Jeydon & when i sign someone's cast or something I sign it as Jeydon so people just assume to call me he & things. So, i'm pretty good. Thanks though:) You're doing great. I'm starting my transgender therapy in about a week so wish me luck!

@SkylarSaysHai
well i'd just stick to it say you're a guy if people ask. especially if you're starting therapy there's no reason to pretend to be a girl anymore right? Good luck with therapy and everything!
