When I first heard this song I fell in love with it. A beautiful song by a beautiful lady. It's not a disco song, but great to slow dance to. Hope you enjoy this song as much as I do.

  • What a great song, so full of longing and emotion.

  • era of love n romance i love it

  • I have not heard this in so long since I was about 12 or 13 and I am 41 years old But its so funny how I just went to the video and remembered every single word. This was a song I played constantly on my old 45rpm turntable as a young kid. lol

  • I loved this song. I bought Bonoff's Wild Heart Of The Young album on cassette back in 1994 (because of the title track, which was played over a scene in the TV show "The Wonder Years") and loved every single song on the album. It took me quite awhile to get into "Gonna Be Mine" but I eventually did and literally played the tape to death. Hopefully, I can find the CD somewhere...

  • Always loved this song- was kind of surprised it was not more popular than it was when it first came out. Very catchy refrain .I guess not enough people thought so :-(

  • Sweeeeeet !

  • sultry

  • @wscotty9 there is plenty of good stuff today and plenty of garbage back when...every genre, era and style has good and shit

  • I saw Karla Bonoff at the Old Globe Theater at Balboa Park San Diego with friends Paula and Kate...small venue...Personally...concerts as they need to be

  • I was in the 10th grade when this song came out. I was working a after school job at the local University. I remember so fondly of my 2 female coworkers singing this song. Great memories of a more innocent time, when you could turn on the radio and hear great music like this. A good song never gets old nor never dies. I will always love this song.
