CBS4 Investigates Men Victimized by Paternity Fraud

Brian Maass reports on men in Colorado who have been paying thousands of dollars to raise someone else's child. A CBS4 investigation uncovered their plight and now state legislators are considering new laws to protect them.

Mandatory paternity testing for all children born...period...whether a married couple or whatever.  I've heard the lame argument that "it's offensive" to committed women, etc... Who cares? Make it mandatory ALL THE TIME. It doesn't hurt; it's easy. You shouldn't be offended if everybody has to do it. "That's offensive" is code for "I want to retain the option of manipulating men regarding paternity." Test everybody all the time.

I think once found that he's not the father the woman should pay all the money that he paid for child support right back to him. NO matter how long!

Why don't you do a story about DEAD BEAT MOMS? Women who as long as they don't put a father on the birth certificate they can just ride the state and governments shirt tails and then add kids and it is Babies 4 Bank and Kids 4 Cash schemes.

Paternity fraud is a nightmare. You have to believe that our justice system is falling apart when men who are the not biological fathers are paying child support for these children. It is so unbelievable that a country as advanced as the USA is so far from true justice for all. There should be mandatory testing is all 50 states to determine the proper father. I hate to say this, but this situation has damaged

me as a person. I have been through living fucking hell.

This message is for all men about to have a child. DO NOT SIGN THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE!!! Once you sign the birth certificate you are legally responsible for that child NO MATTER WHAT. Women lie because they can, Women cheat because it make them feel pretty. 1 out of every 4 births in the USA is a case of Paternity Fraud. Take off your rose colored glasses and face the facts. All that whore wants is a pay check while her mama and the state raise the child.

@icthruu4evr In court, the punishment for lying about paternity should be at least the same as perjury. That is, if a woman swears under oath that she is absolutely sure that a man is the father of her child and DNA tests conclude otherwise, she should be punished for perjury, which is 15 years in jail or $15,000.
