Another item found in the moving/recycling/garbage room in my building, on the "share" table.

Originally introduced by Kodak in 1963, the Instamatic is ample evidence of a once profitable business model.

    What the hell was that?

  • The end of the video is a non-sequitor "easter egg" for those that have followed right to the end. It is from when I appeared in the famous Phil Collins "Land of Confusion" video in the 1980s. Hey! Remember the 80s????

  • This 'business model' of which you speak, such a strange and primitive way of taking money from people! Providing a item for a fee, surely this model was doomed to fail. I am glad to be living in the 21st century where we just 'promise' a service or item and take the money.

It is so much better now.

  • Kodak Instamatic: Like the Princess Contempora telephone, it is "Ample evidence of a once proud civilization".

  • Wow, one of early models. Built like a tank!

  • i have the 104 one and if you find batteries dont point the flash cube at yourself its very bright

  • My dad gave me that camera and some other that are the same type of models "Instamatic" but 124 and 104 and whats with film being so old fashioned I still remeber going to costco and getting films developed

  • i have 1 from '77 still with box ,instructions, and original film

  • A digital phone in their camera? HAHAhah 4:24 ... I don't mind, I just thought it was funny.

Great video! Old fashion camera are the best. I admit film cameras prevail over digital.
