Around year 2005 (in Germany) that photographer published his pictures of the Beatles in India. In the ashram of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi they did compose many songs, until they found out about: 'Sexy Sady' (Maharishi) and left in disgust. But their surfing on that wave called: 'Ex oriente lux' helped to make the guru-idea more famous in the west. As a continuity 'Satsang-Gurus' nowadays travel all over the world - that has become one - not only concerning spiritual matters.

  • Thanks for enlighten us about that evil rumour with Maharishi & Mia Farrow!

    Jai Guru Dev

    Frank

    Recertified TM-Teacher & Artist

  • The song "Sexy Sadie" is about Mia Farrow - in her book "Beyond Gurus", Nancy Cook, who was present at Rishikesh (her son was 'Bungalow Bill'), explains, that Mia started that rumor that all those opposing the innocent Maharishi were using to pull things down.

If a man would be named the word would be "Sadu" - "Sadie" is the feminine form of Sadhu....

  • The MAHA was the balls!! And not many people new it but he could cut the rug!

  • Ringo Star on Maharishis "dropping" his Body & went into Maha-Samadhi:

"One of the wise men I met in my life was the Maharishi," Starr, 67,

said in a statement. "I always was impressed by his joy and I truly

believe he knows where he is going."

  • Pauls farewell words to his Master Maharishi:

"Whilst I am deeply saddened by his passing, my memories of him will

only be joyful ones," said McCartney, 65.

"He was a great man who worked tirelessly for the people of the world

    and the cause of unity.

"I will never forget the dedication that he wrote inside a book he

once gave me, which read 'radiate, bliss, consciousness', and that to

me says it all. I will miss him but will always think of him with a

    smile."

  • maharishi looks like the darker version of Ringo starr...lol
